This trip. This wedding. This day. This state. This job.
You know that rule that your parents told you growing up? ” Don’t talk to strangers.” Well that was completely thrown out the window with someone i am so proud to call friend – Brie Thomason. And my goodness am I glad!! Brie and I have followed and supported each other in our businesses for quite sometime. But we have gotten even closer the past year and half or so! Talking everyday, from business to life. I always say, everyone needs a Brie in their life. She is the kindest person, and so down to earth and I feel so fortunate to be able to bounce ideas off of her and call her friend.
In September, Brie flew my husband and I out to Idaho and we stayed with them for a week! I was going to second shoot a wedding with her! Our husbands clicked instantly. We were so happy! haha They showed us around their beautiful state and on top of that I photographed a wedding with her at the Sun Valley Lodge. Everywhere I turned my California heart was slowing falling more in love with gorgeous Idaho.
Our day started with getting creative with stunning details and ended with a celebration of life and marriage that was so perfect for its timing. Love can never be canceled.
This trip was not only great because I had the opportunity to shoot with Brie, but simply because of the instant connection that I will cherish forever. Find your close friends and keep them close. Don’t take them for granted, they are come far and wide.
I hope you enjoy this jaw dropping day of Steffan and Kathryn saying ” I do!”
