John & Wendy’s intimate hilltop elopement was one for the books. First off, a little about these two love birds. John and Wendy first met when Wendy purchased a home and needed a contractor. ( Does this not remind you of the movie It’s Complicated with Steve Martin!? ) It was basically love at first sight. Wendy says that John remembers the very thing she wore that day, and continued to court her in a sweet romantic way.
There were so many small details that made this day so memorable! Wendy was insisted into her BHLDN gown personally picked out by her daughter, a personal favorite – Wendy chose a gorgeous dreamy cape that perfectly draped her lace detailed gown instead of a veil. It was truly magical to say the least!
The two said their vows on a hilltop overlooking the city surrounded by love ones. As much as I LOVE big weddings, the intimacy of elopements gets me every time. Wendy was escorted down the aisle by her children as John awaited down the hill for his gorgeous bride. Once the John and Wendy became Mr & Mrs Andrews the celebrated with their first dance which ended with rose petals being thrown from Wendy’s father’s garden.
So many intricate details that made this day gorgeous. It was such an honor to capture this special day and to be apart of these moments! Congratulations again John & Wendy – You both radiate so much light and love.
